The Junk Pet Food Industry - A Billion Dollar Industry

Hello everyone,

I was just thinking about the film a Dog's Breakfast and couldn't believe the one scene where one of the Vets made a concoction of Crude oil for fat content, wood chips for fibre, and leather boots for protein. The amazing thing about this is that when this concoction was made up it was tested.

Well guess what. When the results came back it passed for premium dog food. How scary is that!

I actually tried to email menu foods after the documentary but
their website was temporarily down. How convenient.

Again. one of the things we can do to make change is not to consume the pet junk food in hopes that it will bring the industry to it's knees.

Business week in 2007 estimates that " Americans spend an astonishing $41 Billion a year on their furry friends"

Fuelled by massive profits this industry will say whatever needs to be said in order to remove any threat. That threat would be anyone who says that says commercial pet food is poison.
