Learning from Cats and Dogs-Diet
Hi there everyone:
Has anyone eles noticed that there are alot of illnesses out there that our pets are geting that we are also getting as well?. I remember when I was a kid, cats and dogs were dying of old age, as well as most elderly people I knew. Now, if it is not kidney disease, cancer, heart, or seizures it's arthritis. In the beginning animals were granted wisdom and knowledge in hopes that man would observe and benefit. One just has to think of the Tsunami that hit Indonesia a couple of years ago. Hours before anyone knew what was happening, including our great weather consultants, where were the animals? They were headed for the hills, the highest ground. Where were we?. Collecting seashells on the seashore.
Animals being connected to the earth for their basic survival knew far earlier then we did that something was up, and boy were they right. Animals, regardless if they are domesticated or not, still have a great connection to their instinct. This is what I am observing on a daily basis. When Ishka first got sick, I thought, if she is being poisoned without me knowing, it will be coming to a theatre near me very soon. It was now happening in my own home, not in the Arctic, or a place that was far away.
I never realized that it was already happening to me as well. It was already in my kitchen. I went thru all of my food labels throwing out anything that had gluten, filler, or any names of perservatives that I couldn't repeat. I mean why am I eating something that has a cleaning solvent in it?.
Thanks Ishka for waking me up.!! Now I have learned what foods are best for me. I stay away from all food made in China because they are using pesticides on food that have been banned in the U.S and Canada, (such as Diazanon), and then ship the food back to us to eat. It looks very green and tasty, but it is chalk full of pesticides that are illegal to use in this country. I also follow the 100km law, which is to buy your food within 100kms from where you live as much as possible. This way, one has better control and knowledge over what you are eating and buying. No more fillers for me,and I feel great!!!
I guess the old saying of "you are what you eat" is true.
Have a Healthy and Happy Day!!
