Vacinating our Pets

Hello everyone,

In many conversations with pet parents who have pets that are living into their late teens and late 20's. I have realized that they all have two things in common.

The first is that they are being fed either a raw diet or human scraps, not commercial Pet Junk Food that we are brain washed to believe it is something that it isn't.

Secondly, they do not give their pets (especially indoor cats), yearly vacinations.

They give them the shots that are needed when they are young, but then after that, they are on their own and they allow nature to take it's course.

When Ishka was in Emergency and I asked the vet what the average age was for cats, and he told me 12 years of age I was shocked.

That is when I started thinking about what was so different with older cats that was allowing them to live longer.

Ishka does go out on the porch and she frolicks in the grass with everything else in nature.

Most pet parents who opt not to give their pets these yearly shots believe that it can do more harm than good. Each animal is unique, and we all have stories of adverse affects from something as simple as teeth cleaning. Animals differ in size and their tolerance to certain vacines, yet we are expected to give each animal the same amount. Does that make sense?.

Again, I compare it to all of the American children whose parents are being threatened with jail if their children are not given the shots.

If I listen and learn from the animals, I would have to say that the natural way gives way to a healthier and happier pet.

Have a great day!
